around 30000000 m/s is the speed.

Quadbros: its 1/10th of speed of light.

Cathode rays cannot travel faster than light, consider at higher voltage, often as high as 3000 v connected between the cathode and anode of the cathode ray tube and this accelerate the electrons at a high speed around 30000000m/s or 1/10 of speed of light.
