Explanation:

solution:

By v^2 = u^2 -2as

=>0 = u^2 - 2as

=>s = u^2/2a

as F(friction) for a car in normal conditions is constant

=>a = constant

=>s α u^2

Thus stopping distance is directly proportional to the velocity of the car, thus in night s is dependent on the range of headlight

please mark it as brainliest answer..

Answer:

Yes because if the range of the headlights is high enough to see at a long distance,the driver can drive at a bit more speed than the usual. A driver thus becomes assure of the road for a quite long dintace.

For example :- If the range of the headlights is 20 meters, the driver is then sure about the next 20 mtrs. that he has to travel and about the obstacles on the road if any and he may drive it according to it.

Whereas, if the range of the headlights is 40 meters, the driver would be able to see the next 40 mtrs. that he is going to travel and assessing the road, he can increase the speed now that he know where to go clearly for a longer distance.

I hope this is helpful ☺
