Let the refractive index of glass be 'n'.

Speed of light in air = 3*10^8

Speed of light in glass = 2*10^8

The refractive index = Speed of light in air/speed of light in any medium (glass)

n = c/v

n = 3*10^8/2*10^8

n = 3/2. ..... Answer

Therefore the refractive index of glass is 3/2.

Hope this helps you....:)
