{\large{\underbrace{\mathbb{\pink{ ANSWER\: \:-: }}}}}

We Know:

\boxed{\boxed{\tt\pmb{\blue{μ =  \frac{Speed \: of \: light \: in \: vaccum(air)}{Speed \: of \: light \: in \: a \: medium}}}}} \\

 \rightarrowtail\ttμ =  \frac{3 \times  {10}^{8}}{1.97 \times  {10}^{8}} \\

  \rightarrowtail\tt{μ =  \frac{3}{1.97}} \\

  \rightarrowtail\tt{μ = 1.5} \\

  • Hence ,refractive index is 1.5.
