Vair=320m/s
Vwater=1600m/s
tair=2.5s
(1) from relation Vd/the
d=v×t
= 320×2.5m
=800m
(2)
In water V=1600 d=800
t=d/V
=800/1600
0.5s

Distance in air = speed in air * time
= 320*2.5
=800 metres

Distance in water = speed in water * time
So , time = distance/speed
=800/1600
=0.5 seconds
