The speed of sound is 340 m/s . A person fires a gun and it's echo is heard after 1.5 s. find distance of gunman from the cliff from which the echo takes place. ​

velocity = distance

time

so we have to find out distance

distance = velocity × time

we have velocity= 340m/s and time =1.5 s

so put the value

distance = 340m/s × 1.5 s

= 510 m
