Let a be the acceleration
a = ( v - u) /t
a = 70 - 25 / 5
a = 45/5
a = 9 m/s sq

(a = acceleration)

a = \dfrac{change\ in\ velocity}{time\ taken}

a = \dfrac{70-25}{5}

a = \dfrac{45}{5}

a =  9m/s^{2}
