Absolute refractive index=Speed of light in vacuum/Speed of light in diamond
= \frac{3,00,000}{1,24,000}
=2.419...
=2.42 (approx)
Ans:The absolute refractive index of diamond is 2.42.

Guy's ur answer is

Absolute refractive index =speed of light in vaccum /speed of light in dimounds

3,00,000/1,24,000

= 2.419......

=2.49(approx)

Answer :The absolute refractive index of diamond if 2.42
