Solution:-

 \sf \: Speed = 10m/s \\  </p><p> \sf \: Time  \: covered = 2 hour \\ </p><p> \sf \therefore \: Need \:  to \:  find \:  the \:  distance

Let distance be d , Speed be s, Time be t .

 \sf \: s =  \frac{d}{t}  \\  \sf⇒10m/s =  \frac{d}{2hr}  \\  \sf⇒10 =  \frac{d}{2 \times 60 \times 60}  \\  \sf \: ⇒ \frac{d}{7200}   \\ \sf \: ⇒10 \times 7200 = d \\  \sf \: ⇒d = 72000 \\  \\  \sf \therefore \: distance = 72000m \: or \: 72 \: km

Let's know more:-

1.Speed:- The rate of change of position of a moving body is called speed.

2. Unit of speed:- m/s , km/hr , km/m

3. Average speed :-  \sf {\Large \frac{total \: distance \: travel}{time \: taken}}

Solution

Given :-

  • The speed of train 10m/s.

To Find :-

  • How much distance will it cover in 2 hr.

Step-by-Step-Explaination

As we know that :-

Formula of speed = speed = \dfrac{distance}{time \: taken}

According to the question

10 m / s = \dfrac{distance}{2 hr}

10 = \dfrac{distance}{2 × 60 × 60}

=> \dfrac{distance}{7200}

=> 10 × 7200

=> distance = 72000

Hence,

The train covered 72000 m or 72 km in 2 hr.

Additional Information

Formula of Speed = speed = \dfrac{distance}{time \: taken}

Formula of Distance = Distance = \sqrt{(x2 - x1)^2  + ( y2 - y1 )^2}

Formula of Time = Time = \dfrac{distance}{speed}
