EXPLANATION.

Speed - time graph for a car.

The distance travelled by car in first 4 seconds.

As we know that,

When car travel 4 seconds then speed becomes 6 m/s.

Distance travelled = Area of triangle.

Distance travelled = 1/2 x b x h.

⇒ Base = 4.

⇒ Height = 6.

Distance travelled = 1/2 x 4 x 6.

Distance travelled = 12 m.

Answer:

S O L U T I O N :-

\underbrace{\boxed{\sf{Speed - time \:  graph \:  for  \: car}}}

The distance travelled by car in first 4 seconds.

We know

When car travel 4 seconds then speed becomes 6 m/s.

Distance travelled = Area of triangle.

Distance travelled = \frac{1}{2} x b x h

\sf :\longmapsto{ Base = 4}

\sf :\longmapsto{ Height = 6}

Distance travelled = \frac{1}{2} x 4 x 6

Distance travelled = 12 m
