The speedometer reading for a car travelling north shows 80km/h. Another car is travelling at 80km/h towards the south. Is the speed of both cars the same? Is the velocity of the both cars the same? Explain your answer.

Speed of both the cars is same but not their velocity. Velocity will be different as it is a vector quantity which depends on direction of motion in addition to magnitude of speed
