Answer:

108 km/hr² or 1/120 m/s²

Explanation: final velocity = 72 km/hr or 20 m/sec

initial velocity = 36 km/hr or 10 m/sec

time taken = 20/60=1/3 hr or 1200 sec

v-u=at   ⇒ (72-36)3=a km/hr² = 108kmhr/²

similarly a = 1/120 m/sec²

Answer:

solved

Explanation:

v1 =36 km/h = 36000/3600 = 10m/s

v2 = 72km/h = 72000/3600 = 20m/s

Δt = 15 min = 900 s

a = Δv/Δt = 20/900 = 1/45 m/s²

displacement = v2² - v1² ÷ 2a = 300x45/2 = 6750m.
