Before the end of the nineteenth century, numerous Indians started feeling that to ingrain a feeling of pride in the country Indian history must be contemplated in an unexpected way.

The British considered Indians to be in reverse and crude unequipped for administering themselves.

Accordingly, Indians started investigating the past to find India's great accomplishments. They expounded on the great advancements in old circumstances when craftsmanship and engineering, science and arithmetic, religion and culture, law and theory, specialties and trade had thrived.

This eminent time in their view was trailed by a past filled with decay when India was colonized.

These patriot histories encouraged the pioneers to take pride in India's great accomplishments before and battle to change the hopeless states of life under British rule.
