The spokes of a wheel are made of metal and their lengths are of one metre. On rotating the wheel about its own axis in a uniform magnetic field of 5 105 tesla normal to the plane of wheel, a potential difference of 3.14 mv is generated between the rim and the axis. Potential difference generated between rim and axis of cycle is calculated by -

V = 1/2 B.ω.l²

V = 1/2 × B × 2πf × l²

f = V / Bπl²

f = 20 rev/s

Therefore, frequency of revolution of the wheel is 20 rev/s.
