The majority of computer viruses have a purpose of doing something malicious to your system. While we have seen people make viruses to update infected computers anti-virus and windows software, it is not ethical. Essentially, invading someone else’s privacy. If the user agrees to your "virus" that does good, which I doubt many will, only then it would be considered ethical (To some extent). Not only that but if your virus is poorly made, someone could hijack it for a far more malicious purpose. I would personally not recommend pursuing this topic for doing good, instead focus on anti-virus software and various healthier ways to prevent viruses. Good luck!
