The spring in the figure stretches from 10 cm to 22 cm when a force of 4 N is applied. Calculate:
its total length when a force of 6 N is applied.

Explanation:

When 4n force acts then spring increase by 12cm. it means,1n force increase 12 divided by 4 or 3 cm. So, 6n will increase 18cm. hence,total length of string will be 28cm.
