(5x+2y)² is in the form of (a+b)²
As,(a+b)²=a²+2ab+b²
(5x+2y)²=(5x)²+2(5x)(2y)+(2y)²
⇒25x²+20xy+4y².
(5x+2y)²=25x²+20xy+4y²

We have,
⇒(5x+2y)²
⇒(5x)²+2(5x)(2y)+(2y)²          [∵(a+b)²=a²+2ab+b²]
⇒25x²+20xy+4y².
