I think it should be 5.
Because,
5^3 - 5^2 = 125 - 25 = 100

x³-x²=100
x(x²-x)=100
x*x(x-1)=100

x²(x-1)=5²*5-1

x=5

therefore value of x is 5

The Square of a natural number subtracts from its cube comes 100,then the natural number is 5
