The square of a number is 25.if the hcf and lcmm of two number is 5 and 25 find the othet number

Let the numbers be x and y .

According to the first condition-

x² = 25

x = 5 ----------------------1

According to the second condition

since- HCF × LCM = x y

THEREFORE

xy = 125 -------------------2

From 1 and 2

xy = 125
5 y = 125
y = 25


Therefore the other number is 25.
