Let a and d are side and diagonal of

the square ,

d² = 128 cm²

We know that ,

√2 a = d

Do the square of both sides of the

equation,

2 a² = d²

a² = 128 /2

a² = 64

a = √64

a = 8 cm

Therefore ,

Side o the square = a = 8 cm
