circumference of cylinder equals the length of the side of the square

2*pi*r = 44
r = 22/pi=7.002 cm

HERE'S THE ANSWER...

________________________________

♠️ Given , A square of side 44 cm is folded along its side to form a cylinder

✔️ According to above statement , it is very clear that

⏺️ Height of cylinder will be side of square , i.e 44 cm

⏺️ And it's circumference will be side of square , by using its circumference we'll find the radius of cylinder

▶️ Circumference = 2 π r

⏺️ Putting circumference = 44 cm

=> 2 π r = 44

=> 2 × 22 / 7 × r = 44

=> 44 / 7 × r = 44

=> r = 44 × 7 / 44

=> [ r = 7 cm ]✔️✔️

♠️ The cylinder formed will have radius of 7 cm
