Hyp=50cm
Let 2 sides be x
X^2+X^2=hyp^2
By Pythagorean theorem
2X^2=50^2
2X^2=2500
X^2=1750
X=41.833001326704 = 41.83 approx
So the length of each leg is 41.83 cm

the square of hypotenuse of a right angle triangle is 50 cm
let the other two sides be x
therefore by Pythagoras theorem,
50=x²+x²
50=2x²
x²=25
x=+-5
but since x cannot be negative the answer is 5
