The square of the hypotenuse of a square is 128 cm2. Find the length of the side

Let the side of the square = a

Using Pythagoras theorem,

a²+a²= 128 cm²

2a² = 128

a² = 64

a = 8

Thus, the side of the quarter is 8cm.
