(a+b) = 81 -----------------(1)

squaring both sides we get,

(a+b)² = 81²

a²+b²+2ab = 6561

3341 + 2ab = 6561

2ab = 3220

ab = 1610

now ,

we know that ,

(a-b)² = a²+b² - 2ab

putting values we get,

(a-b)² = 3341 - 3220

(a-b)² = 121

(a-b) = 11 --------------------(2)

Adding equation (1) & (2) now, we get,

2a = 81+11 = 92
