The squares of two consecutive positive integers differ by 1987. What are those integers? PLZ EXPLAIN ME WITH STEPS

Let the integers be x &x-1
So x^2-(x-1)^2= 1987
(2x-1)(1)= 1987
2x= 1988
X= 1988/2 = 994

So integers are 994,993
