Being a large country India has variable climates in many of the states scattered in various regions.


Some state produces sugar most in the country, and some produce jute and rice.


Cotton is produced in the western parts of the country whereas jute and paddy in the east.


So it is very difficult to say which state produces maximum agriculture but as a whole India is an agriculturally sufficient country.
