a) A pistil, (one a many carpels) has three parts ,i.e., stigma, style and ovary. Ovary, the swollen part of the pistil contains an angiospermic, ovoid and whitish structure called ovule. Inside ovary it is attached to a parenchymatous cushion called placenta, either singly or in cluster.
