Silk is mostly produced in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Jammu and Kashmir. Mysore and North Bangalore, in Tamil Nadu Salem, Erode and Dharmapuri districts. Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh and Gobichettipalayam. These places produce a lot of silk.
