Let the age of statue and kajal be x and y

age of statue = y

age of kajal = x

given that statue is 2 years older than kajal

therefore, y = x + 2 {eq. 1}

given that sum of their ages is 30

x + y = 30 {eq.2}

from eq. 1 and eq. 2

x + (x + 2 ) = 30

2x + 2 = 30

2x = 30 - 2

2x = 28

x =28/ 2

x = 14

therefore age of kajal is 14 and age of statue =

x + 2= 16

Answer:

Kajal's age = x

and statue's age =2+x

So,x+2x= 30

=x+2+x=30

=2x=30-2

x=28/2

x=14

kajal's age is 14So, statue age is 2+14=16

Step-by-step explanation:

i think Kajal is twice than statue not 2 years older than
