The Statue of Liberty sits on the Liberty Island in New York Harbor. It is made of an iron frame with sheets of copper hung over the frame. When it was erected it was brown in color and over the period of time it has turned green.
State the reason for above observation. Suggest a way to restore back the red color of copper for the statue.
