Political representation of women in India are as follows :

1. in loksabha women have 10 % reservation

2. in vidhan sabha (state assemblies) it's 5 %

3. in local body they have 1/3 rd seats reserved for them( now more than 10 lakh women representative are in the local gov. body)

4. women organization are demanding similar reservation of 1/3 rd seat in lok sabha and state assemblies but this bill is pending for more than the decade
