Given :-

  • The EMF of the battery (E) = 12 V

  • The internal resistance of the battery (R) = 0.4 Ω

To Find :-

  • The maximum current that can be drawn from the battery?

Solution :-

According to Ohm’s law,

\red\bigstarE = IR

[ Putting values ]

\implies 12 = I × 0.4

\implies I = 12/0.4

\implies I = 30 A \green\bigstar

Hence,

  • The maximum current drawn from the given battery is 30 A.

Explanation:

Given:-

the EMF of battery =e=12V

internal resistance of battery =  0.4 {\Omega}

To find:-

the maximum current that can be drawn from the battery.

Solution:-

As we know that

According to Ohm's law

{\boxed {E=IR}}

by putting values

{:}\longrightarrow12=I×0.4

{:}\longrightarrowI={\frac {12}{0.4}}

{:}\longrightarrow{\underline{\boxed{\bf {I=30A}}}}
