The storage battery of a car has an emf of 12v ,if the internal resistance of the battery is 0.4ohm what will be the maximum current

I = E ÷ (R+r) = 12/0.4 =30 Amp

Answer:  E = 12v   Internal resistance r = 0.4 ohm    Now maximum current that can be drawn from the battery = I   Now applying ohms law    E = Ir   I =E/r    = 12/0.4  =  30A
