The Storm
Written by: Juanita Newnes
Illustrated by: Nakul Shinde
The clouds in the sky look like cotton balls
The wind blows them gently along
The weather is pleasant, the fields are green
The sudden dark shadow seems almost a
bad dream.
The rain pours down like a sheet of ice
I quickly look around me in surprise
The storm turns into a raging beast
I am shivering and drenched from my head
to my feet
DET
Before I can blink, the sudden storm
Passes by and is gone
I blink in wonder at the warm sunlight
And the clouds in the sky again all white
