=======================

Bharatanatyam is the dance form in which the themes are taken from Ramayana and Mahabharata.

Bharatanatyam (Bharathanatiyam) is a genre of Indian classical dance

It was originated in Tamil Nadu.

The term "Bharatanatyam" is a mixture of two words - "Bharata" and "Natyam".

"Bharata" ("bha"–"ra"–"ta") - the bha stands for bhava means "feelings, emotions", ra stands for raga means "melody, framework for musical notes", and ta stands for tala means "rhythm".

"Natyam" - Natyam means a Sanskrit word for "dance".
