Explanation:
A carpenter had some oil in a vessel. He kept it in a room which he looked carefully. To his surprise, he found some oil stolen every day. He tried to find out the thief, but could not. He was puzzled and did not know what to do. At last, he thought of a plan. At night, he peeped through a hole in the door. He saw a rat on the mouth of the vessel. It was very clever. It dipped its tail in the vessel and took it out. Then, it licked of the oil. The carpenter knew the rat's trick. He laid a trap near the vessel and put some food. The rat entered the trap for the food and was caught. Thus, the carpenter got rid of the clever rat.
