the braille worked well enough in the language for helen but when it came ti geometry and algebra, difficulties aroses .she was familiar with all literacy braille in common use but the various signs and symbols in geometry and algebra in the three system englisg , American and new york point were very difficult and she had used only english braille in algebra finding papers in algebra in the American notation confused her .she could not tell the combination of braket brace and radical .she reached the college before time and MR veining explain her American symbols
