when Helen was six years old, her father heard about a famous eye specialist in Baltimore. This doctor treated many hopeless cases and so Helen's parents were hopeful. Helen enjoyed her journey to Baltimore very much. She made friends with many people on the train. One women even gave her a box of shells. The train conductor was also kind towards her. He allowed her to play with his punch Little Helen enjoyed making holes in a cardboard with that punch machine.
