• Both of the great personalities in the name of Maria Sharapova who was the renowned Russian tennis sensation with training from the United States, and Santosh Yadav, the well-known mountaineer from India, are examples of people who have worked very rigorously and consistently. Both of these young women came from very modest backgrounds and began their ascent to reach the top. Santosh hailed from a little village in the isolated district of Rewari in the state of Haryana, and Maria was from the chilly regions of Siberia, which lacked suitable tennis training facilities.
