Answer:

It was Monday morning and guess what; it was the day that we got to audition for the school play. I wanted to be first one there to audition so that I could get the lead role, whatever that is.

Well that all changed when I heard my alarm clock wake me up and then when I looked at the time, I only had five minutes to get to school, the auditions are first thing in the morning and I can’t be late. I got out of bed as quick as I could and got ready, had breakfast which was toast but the funny thing is that I didn’t have time to toast it. I missed the bus so the only option was my bike. I peddled down the road as fast as I could, it was lucky that my school was on the same road.

I got to school, the bell had just rung and I thought to myself maybe I could still make it. When I got to the drama room I heard them call out my name. They said “Could Gabriella Lovano please come up on stage,” I couldn’t believe it was my turn and most of all that I made it in time. When I got up on stage I got butterflies in my tummy, but after five minutes that all went away. I had to act out the scene of the movie ‘The Day I Almost Became Famous.’ I was reading out the lines, and then fell over, how embarrassing I know, but the drama teacher thought it was funny and then I heard her laugh out, “Great Job.” I thought that I didn’t really do a very good job compared to everyone else, but I thought at least Ms Georgia thought it was hilarious.

After school I went to the video store and found the movie to take it home and watch, I thought it was funny, but nobody else did. That night I couldn’t sleep, I was really hoping I’d get the part.

The next day at school the list of the play characters were up, I walked over towards it and then someone yelled out, “You got the part!” So I went and walked over very excited. I went to see the drama teacher and thanked her, standing next to her was the most famous director of ‘The Comedy Show’ on television, he said to me, “Congratulations” and I said “For?” and then he told me that I am going to be on ‘The Comedy Show.’ I asked Ms Georgia, “How come I got the part?” and she said, “Because it was so funny that I thought that it would be hilarious for the audience if we add that part in the show where you fall.”

I went from starring in the lead role of ‘The Day I Almost Became Famous’ to the day I became famous.

Well that’s my story of the day I became famous.
