answer:Terenty loves the children. At last we can see the sentence"Terenty comes to them, and puts bread under their heads.andno one one sees the love" this sentence express love and caring of Terenty to children. Then we can see the sentence "Terenty bends down to Fyokla, and his grim face is over spread with a smile, such as come into people's faces when they look at something little, foolish, and absurd, but warmly loved". This sentence also express love and happiness of terenty when he see the children. And when terenty knows that Danilka had an accident Terenty runs to save Danilka. Answer:

Terenty's devotion for the children is evident throughout the story.

Explanation:

Terenty's devotion for the children is evident throughout the story. Here are three grounds to support this assertion.

1. Terenty has an emotional conversation with Fyokla and agrees to assist her brother.

2. He carefully answers all of Danilka's queries and informs him about nature.

3. While the youngsters were sleeping on the straw in the community barn, he hid bread under their heads.
