you have yo find x such that : 3x + 2 = 2x² + 7x -11
=> 2x² +4x -13 = 0
=> x = 1 +/- 1/2*sqrt(30).
To find y, replace x by x1 AND x2 ( you have 2 values above: +/- means plus or minus) in the equation y = 3x + 2
to check that you ( and I) made no mistake, you can replace x in the other equation as well and check that you find the same values.
