Answer:

Time Period = Time taken to complete one oscillation.

Frequency = Number of oscillations/per second

Frequency = 3000/6

500Hz

Time period = 1/500second

0.002sec

Hope you got it mate

Given :

Number of vibration in 6 sec = 3000

To Find :

The time period and frequency of the sound produced

Solution :

Time period of oscillation of a vibrating particle is defined as the time taken by it to execute one complete oscillation.

Time taken to complete 3000 vibrations = 6 seconds

Time taken to complete 1 vibration =  \frac{6}{3000} = 0.002 sec

Therefore, Time Period of the vibrating particle is 0.002 second

Frequency = \frac{1}{Time Period}

                  =  \frac{1}{0.002}

                  =  500 Hz

Therefore, the frequency is 500 Hz.
