Hi there !!

a )
Radius , r = 3.5 cm

Height , h = 10cm

Cardboard required for making i pen holder = C.S.A of cylinder + 1 base area

C.S.A = πr²h
= 22/7 × 3.5 × 3.5 × 10
= 385 cm²

Base area = πr²
= 22/7 × 3.5 × 3.5
= 38.5 cm²

Cardboard required for 1 pen holder = 385 + 38.5
= 423.5 cm²

Cardboard required for 2000 pen holders = 423.5 × 2000
= 847000 cm²

b) The children are very keen to help others.They are sensitive enough to understand the needs of others
