SO LET NO OF RUPEES CONTRIBUTED BY EACH = x
So x*x=2601
So x=root 2601
x=51
Hence there were 51 students

Therefore, contribution by each student is Rsx

According to question:-

$x \times x = 1156$

=>$x {}^{2} = 1156$

=>$x = \sqrt[]{1156}$

=>$x = \sqrt{34 {}^{2} }$

=>$x = 34$

The strength of the class is 34.
