Let say number of students went for an outing = N

Each student contributed = Number of students

=>  Each student contributed = Rs N

Total Amount  =  number of students * each student contributed

=> Total Amount  =   N * N

=> Total Amount  =   N²

N²  = 2704

=> N² = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 13 * 13

=> N² = 2²  * 2²  *  13²

=>  N² = (2   * 2  *  13)²

=>  N² = (52)²

=> N = 52

52 students went for outing
