Answer:

          Let the number of students in the class = x

          Let the money donated by each student = x

                   x  ×  x = 2025

                   x² = 2025

                   x = √2025

                   x = √5×5×9×9

                   x = 5×9

                   x = 45

            ∴ The number of students in the class =  45

Explanation:

                       First of all, we took the number of students in the class and the money donated by each student as x.  Then, we multiplied the number of students in the class with the money donated by each student;  i.e.,  x × x .  Then, we got x × x  as x² and x² = 2025.  For finding x ,  we needed to find the square root of 2025. For that, we took the LCM of 2025. Then we got  √5×5×9×9 .  By taking out the common multiples, we got it as 5×9 ;   i.e.,  x =  5×9.   So. x = 45.

                 ∴ The number of students in the class =  45

   Hope it helps you!
