Solution:

distance between Sam and Tim as 16m   Diagonal

distance between  Elle and Vinni as 30m  Diagonal

the distance between consecutive positions are equal

Hence its a rhombus

Diagonal of rhombus bisect each other perpendicularly

Hence distance of Ficus plant from Elle  = (1/2) distance between  Elle and Vinni

= (1/2) 30

= 15 m

the distance of Ficus plant from Elle = 15 m
