☺✌ Hiii here is your answer✌☺
Passive Transport Passive transport is themovement of molecules across the cell membrane and does not require energy. It is dependent on the permeability of the cell membrane. There are three main kinds of passive transport - Diffusion, Osmosis andFacilitated Diffusion.
Active Transport. Active Transport is the term used to describe the processes of moving materials through the cell membrane that requires the use of energy. There are three main types of Active Transport: The Sodium-Potassium pump, Exocytosis, and Endocytosis
Facilitated diffusion therefore allows polarand charged molecules, such ascarbohydrates, amino acids, nucleosides, and ions, to cross the plasma membrane. Two classes of proteins that mediate facilitated diffusion are generally distinguished: carrier proteins and channelproteins.
