Given :-

The substance having a density of 0.8g/cm3 has a mass of 64 gram .

To find :-

Volume substance

Solution :-

Density of substance = 0.8 g/cm³

Mass of substance = 64 g

As we know that

→ D = m/V

Where " D " is density, " m " is mass and " V " is volume of substance.

According to question

→ Density = Mass/Volume

→ 0.8 = 64/V

→ 8/10 = 64/V

Cross multiplication

→ 8 × V = 10 × 64

→ 8V = 640

→ V = 640/8

→ V = 80 cm³

Hence,

Volume of substance is 80cm³

More to unit :-

C.G.S unit of density is g/cm³

S.I unit of density is kg/m³
